The style know as “Filigree” originated from artisans of ancient times who crafted valuable materials into intricate, one-of-a-kind designs. Their craftmanship required a high degree of care and attention.  Their creations were difficult to create and painstakingly finished by hand. As a result of their meticulous attention to detail, no two pieces of art using the filigree technique are exactly alike.
